August 2010
July finished badly for Reece with a nightmare meeting at Workington following mechanical problems. This was soon forgotten after a successful meeting at the Isle of Wight saw Reece claim third on the podium. Race one started with a win with races two three and four accumukating enough points to qualify comfortably for the final.
After a tight first turn championship leader Robert Lambert and track specialist Nathan Stoneman pulled away with Reece claiming a comfortable third ahead of David Abraham

May 2010
Following his crash in practice and 3 weeks out of action at the start of the season Reece kicked off the 2010 under 15s championship with a fine podium finish in the first round of the British 250cc Championship at Newport, South Wales.
Temperatures on track were over 85 degrees as the young hopefuls battled it out on the shale. Reece qualified for the final after collecting four consecutive second places in the heats with a display of neat error free racing. In races that last 60 seconds the start is key and Reece was left with a mountain to climb when, following 1st corner bunching, he was left trailing in fourth in the grand final. Again his patience and precise riding style paid off and he capitalised on another riders mistake to take and hold third spot for a podium finish. Reecie took 5 race wins out of 6 to clinch the meeting and series from main rival Jack Cornes in a thrilling duel. Race 1 to Reece, race 2 jack pips Reece on the line, race 3 Reece holds Jack of dispite repeated challenges, race 4 Reece wins, race 5 stunning time from Reece and a very scary moment for Jack seals it for Reece. Race 6 think both boys were worn out, Reece takes it in a steady time as Jack battles with his machine.

Reece took the 250 meeting at Scunthorpe with 5 super heat wins only to be denied a full house by his Dad forgetting to turn the fuel on for heat 6! Pictures below Reece riding to wins in heats 4 and 5. Photos courtesy of adimages.co.uk Thanks Ashley!

18.11.08 The 2008 season has really ended on a high both on and off the track. In the last month Reece has won the first ever 250cc race meeting he has enterd at the age of 10 years and 22 days! This was closely followed by 2nd and 3rd placings in the Lancashire Grasstrack event at Scunthorpe on his grasstrack bike and second place overall in the Lancashire Grasstrack Junior catagory for 2008.
Off the track the support has been simply superb:
The word famous Draper Tools Company have agreed to supply Reeces tools, Simpson Racing UK methanol, Rock oil his oil and TCX his boots for 2009. Along with the support this year from KBC, nu-track and Champion spark plugs all of whom we hope will be with us next years sees Reece well placed to progress in 2009. And of course special thanks as always to Phil Drury for his constant support and belief, the team at Alligator Signs Barnsley for the superb van graphics and Rob Godfrey and Kenny Smith at Scunthorpe Speedway.
Also must thank all the fans and supporters at Scunthorpe who encourage us all week in week out, there are loads to mention so please forgive us if weve missed your name off... here are just a few... 20.4.08 SUPER SECOND for Reecie!!!!!!. In wet and slippy conditions Reecie rode hard to gain a well deserved second place in the Lancashire Junior Grasstrack meeting at Much Hoole on Sunday. Six second places in six races guarenteed a podium finish. The best of all was heat 3 where Reecie almost fell as his bike gripped at the start but battled back to take second place on the line after winding the throttle on round the last bend and up the straight to take the chequered flag.
16.3.08 Press and practice for the Scorpions saw Reece debut in his 2008 black and red colours. Thanks go to Roy and Hilary Dean at Nu-Track for a new set of plastice to refurbish his grasstrack bike, Phil Drury for a super set of kevlars and Connie and the gang at KBC for a brilliant new KBC Zombie 2 helmet...soooo koooooooool!
See more great 2008 pics in the gallery.
15.3.08 The 2008 season started with another trophy in the cabinet with a 3rd place at the LJRGTC meeting at the Eddie Wright Raceway, Scunthorpe. Dispite the mist and drizzle all the boys put on a great display. Unfortunately Reecie's 85cc Honda couldn't match the pace of the CRF 15occ Hondas and the 100cc Kawasakis though yet again Reece displayed classic speedway style riding to gain this 3rd place.
8.1.08 Reecie signs hemet sponsorship for the 2008 seeson. Reecie has signed his first helmet sponsorship with KBC helmets for the 2008 season. Watch the gallery for the first pics in his new lid appearing shortly

20.10.07 Reecies last outing on his kawasaki KX 60 ended with his first meeting win at the Lancashire Grasstrack Club's speedway meeting at Scunthorpe. Wins in 4 out of 5 races combined with some great overtaking moves saw Reece not only win his class but also take home the club's youth rider of the meeting award. This is a great end to the season which started with being made mascot of Scunthorpe Scorpions and also had the brilliant success of £1,400 raised for Garry Staed.
Reecie would like to thank all his fans for their support this year especially Kay and the girls (you know who you are!!!) at scunthorpe Speedway, Fido and the Billabong Gang, Rob godfery and Kenny Smith, Wayne C and Cooperman, and all the scorpions who give him a big cheer every week.
Special thanks to Reecies sponsors, Drury Enginering, Alligator Signs and Darton van hire.

23.8.07 Rode at Garry Steads benefit meeting tonight...well tried to. The gearbox gave up on my KX 60 and the Yamaha developed an electrical fault...doh! Only 4 laps completed but just being there was still great.
12.8.07 Reecie today completed the Garry Stead lapathon. Dispite crashing Reece remounted to complete 13 laps and raise a massive £1,400 for the fund

19.7.07. Stop press new sponsor joins the team. Alligator Signs, Barnsley's #1 graphics company agrees to support Reece by providing graphic artwork for race gear and van. Many thanks to Rob and Dawn for joining the team.
8.7.07 It was announced at Scunthorpe today that Reecie would be completing a sponsored lapathon for Garry Steads benefit fund. Reecie will aim to complete as many laps as he can in 5 minutes at the home meeting on August 12th. The response has been brilliant and the event should be a big help for Garry. Anyone who missed the chance to sponsor Reecie can still do so. Simply leave a message in his guest book stating how much you wish to sponsor him for per lap. Also please guess how many laps he will complete and you will be in with a chance to win a bottle of Champers!.
2.7.07 Just got back from Cardiff...brill or what! Found this and thought it might look good on the Scunthorpe trophy cabinet!
